Best early-game combo
Cremis + Needoll Noct uses the two most common parents on this list, so it is usually the cheapest route to Yakumo.

Yakumo breeding steps
-
1. Build a Breeding Farm
Place a Breeding Farm at your base and keep Cake in a nearby chest. Cake is the one thing breeding will not start without, and this page already lists 277 parent pairs, so pick the pair you can make today.
-
2. Assign the two parents
Assign Cremis and Needoll Noct, one of each gender. The pairing is what matters rather than which side each of them sits on: swap them and Yakumo still hatches, unless the pair happens to be the one gendered special combination.
-
3. Collect and incubate the egg
Pick up the egg and put it in an Egg Incubator. Yakumo arrives in a Common Egg, and that egg type comes with the species rather than with the pair.
-
4. Repeat for passives
Keep the pair in the farm and the passives reroll from egg to egg; Yakumo keeps hatching, only the passives and the stat growth change.
Yakumo breeding FAQ
- What are Yakumo's breeding combinations?
- Yakumo is breedable. The calculator lists 277 valid combinations, including Cremis + Needoll Noct.
- What is Yakumo's breeding rank?
- Rank 2230, on a 20–3,100 range: Yakumo is in the upper third. Pair it with a Pal ranked near that number and the two ranks average, rounded down, to somewhere the game can hatch Yakumo; pair it with something far away and the average lands on a different Pal altogether.
- Which base jobs does Yakumo cover?
- Its strongest job is gathering at level 2, and it is a standard Pal at Paldeck #127.
- Do cakes affect Yakumo breeding results?
- No, not for a normal hatch, and Yakumo still arrives in a Common Egg. The species comes from the two parents' ranks, or from the fixed-combination list if the pair is on it, so the Cake you feed them is beside the point for Yakumo. Rank 2230 is what decides the child here; the advanced recipes only change what comes with the hatch: egg count, stat growth, passive inheritance, and two of them also improve the mutation roll.
