1. 1. Build a Breeding Farm

   Build the farm and stock Cake, because nothing hatches without it. With 447 parent pairs listed here, the cheapest route is usually one of the pairs you already own.

2. 2. Assign the two parents

   Drop one male and one female into the farm, for example Kelpsea and Icelyn. Which one goes in which slot makes no difference to Katress. The one exception in the whole table is a single gendered combination.

3. 3. Collect and incubate the egg

   Move the egg to an Egg Incubator and wait it out. Katress comes in a Large Dark Egg, whoever its parents were.

4. 4. Repeat for passives
