Measured, not assumed: a fresh request to any page here returns no Set-Cookie header at all. There is no login, no sign-up, no comment form, no shopping cart and no analytics script, so there is nothing the site needs to remember about you between visits.

That is why no cookie banner appears on this site. A consent banner exists to gate cookies; where there are none to gate, a banner would be theatre.

What is stored in your browser, and why

Two things are kept in your browser’s local storage. Local storage is not a cookie: it is never sent to the server, and no request here carries it.

• Your Palbox: the Pals you tick as owned, stored under the key pbc-palbox. It is what lets the pair lists filter down to combinations you can actually breed right now.
• Your theme choice: light or dark, stored under the key pbc-theme, so the site opens the way you left it.

Both are per browser and per device: tick a Pal on your phone and your desktop will not know about it. Neither identifies you, and both are removed when you clear site data or use a private window.

WordPress cookies: when they can appear

The site runs on WordPress, which sets functional cookies in two situations: when a logged-in user opens the admin area (a login cookie plus a settings cookie for the interface), and when a commenter submits a comment. Neither applies to a normal visitor here, because this theme renders no login form and no comment form. A policy that only described the first case would be incomplete.

Third-party requests: where your IP goes

Nowhere. The site makes no third-party request at all: the stylesheet, the two font files, the images and the scripts all come from this site’s own host, so no other company sees your IP address or user-agent because you opened a page here. The fonts used to come from Google Fonts; they are served from this host now.

No advertising network, analytics provider, font host, social embed, CDN or tracking pixel is contacted at any point on this site.

Analytics and advertising

There is none. No analytics provider and no advertising network runs on the site, and no ad slot is reserved for one. If that ever changes, the provider will be named on this page and in the privacy policy before it goes live, together with what it stores and how to opt out.

How to remove what is stored

• Clear cookies and site data for qvemos.com in your browser settings. Everything listed above is stored in your browser, so clearing takes effect immediately and nothing has to be requested from the site.
• Open the site in a private or incognito window, where local storage is discarded when the window closes.
• Empty your Palbox from the My Palbox page at any time. That list is the whole store.

Changes to this policy

This page changes when the site does. The revision date at the top moves whenever the text below it changes, and a material change, such as a new third party or a new kind of storage, is described here rather than added quietly.
